On Second Floor in Bhutan Museum Fukui

  This year is the 50th anniversary of Keiji Nishioka's arriving in Bhutan at the first time as an agriculture expert of the Colombo Plan. He devoted his life to modernizing the agriculture in Bhutan. He was confered the title of "Dasho" by the Forth King of Bhutan for his remarkable contribution to the development of Bhutan.

   The start of his assistance activities for the contry was a milesstone in the course of deeping the friendly and constructive relation between Bhutan and Japan. At this commemorable timing, we have planed to open an exhibition on Dasho Nishioka to look back on his works and life.
